Matt Doolin

Matt Doolin is originally from Jacksonville, Florida. He began dancing ballet along with jazz, tap, and modern at age 11 at Dansations Performing Arts Center. He attended Lavilla School of the Arts and Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. After his sophomore year in high school he joined Orlando Ballet II and continued his training at Orlando Ballet School with Peter Stark and Olivia Munoz until graduating from high school.
He is now a Junior at Butler University studying Dance Pedagogy on a full tuition scholarship. Matt has been awarded Bronze and Silver Medals at the Youth American Grand Prix Competition in Orlando and is a National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts Merit Winner in the Jazz Dance Category. Matt has studied with such institutions as Atlanta Festival Ballet, American Ballet Theater New York, Miami City Ballet, and most recently Milwaukee Ballet. Matt is ecstatic to be teaching at the Central Indiana Academy of Dance this year.
